Stream Labs, the worldwide leader in Video Monitoring and Playout solutions, today announced sophisticated new playout and graphics capabilities for the company's market-leading VPlay™ integrated channel playout system. The latest VPlay™ software also enhances the complete media management platform with ingest, storage, and enhanced playout broadcast workflows.

Substantial functional gains for the VPlay™ system include options for supporting up to 16 audio streams, as well and internal signal switching with UHD, HD and SD simulcast output. With these extended options, VPlay™ becomes more flexible when dealing with complex video source needs and, at the same time, reduces the demand on switcher/router control. The VPlay™ software release also provides new integration with VRec™ Audio and Video Ingest, streamlining the workflow.
This new software release, avails complete remote system operation with SRT and NDI low latency monitoring of inputs and outputs in full resolution. Remote system operation has never been easier.

VPlay™ can now operate with VMedia™ for efficient content, scheduling and subtitle/CC management. Simplifying integration with third party systems and making efficient content management a key factor in streamlining customer workflows.
Multi-channel VPlay scheme
As part of its standard functionality, VPlay™ now also includes previously announced features for integrating rich graphics directly into the playout workflow, closed-caption file insertion, and simulcast routing of UHD, HD and SD channels. Further enhancements to the VPlay™ system are in the ingest and output encoding/transcoding, up/down conversion and transrating of content. VPlay™ does not require an external encoder and can generate multiple outputs for the same channel such as SRT, NDI, HLS, UDP, RTMP, SDI etc.
